1 ReplyIt seems as though Bungie's primary concerns are short term gains and not future proofing their content, as with almost all AAA titles. It's a shitty tactic but they get lots of money from it so they don't really care what happens after they get your money for their next product. They don't care about TDB or HoW or any of the stuff before TTK really, because they know there's no more money to be made there,it really sucks how indie secs are the ones who you can depend on for the long run, and not people you invested your money into for years.

2 RepliesWhat's really stupid on Bungie's part is that everyone will eventually just skip this section. There is a checkpoint after this, so all people will eventually do (and already have started in masses) is just complete the first two sections, grab a Crota checkpoint from someone in the party (or someone in the party grabs it from someone on forums) and then boom, skip section right to next loot point (ie: Crota). Their design literally made that entire fight a moot point. Like many things in Destiny, incredibly short sighted without any long term thought. Bungie REALLY needs some people with a vision greater than two feet in front of them.

It is fairly easy in my experience, but i only play with friends so understand The frustration when you play with randoms that don't know how the encounter work. But it is a CP that takes a maximum of 3 minutes to complete and can be soloed (like the rest of the raid) so don't really see it as a must for dropping loot. Can agree with shards but not gear in my book.

5 hours? GI back and get better gear. Anyways. Death singer needs something. I've seen groups grab a crota cp and skip it altogether. No one wants to bother with it.

You know i thought long and hard on this one...i think they got it right...i mean, it literally takes 3 minutes. ..shouldnt be a big deal once people get the hang of it esp with 6

This checkpoint used to be hard but now its really easy once you get the technique. I've also beat it on a practice run with 4 people, it was completely for fun and we just did it first try

I'd just like to know what the lead designer was thinking not putting loot drop for death singer and for the confluxes in VoG. I mean cause obviously they had to slow down loot drops.....right?
