Destiny: Wont load past first screen
Ive managed to play Destiny once and got to level 3, the next time I tried logging in I couldnt get the game to load past the point which shows your character and level with the little flashing symbol in the bottom left.
I have tried every single thing you could think of to fix this, from uninstalling the game, turning off my ps4, redownloading updates, starting the game not signed into psn, restarting my router EVERYTHING.
I cannot find an answer to this in this forum so could somebody please give me any suggestions they could think of besides the obvious? Id really appreciate it.
Genuinely annoyed about this actually, wasnt Destiny meant to be one of the most expensive games ever to make? And I cant get it to load.

1 ReplyI have the same problem. I just get a black screen with the icon in the corner for literally ages. If you press the Xbox button in the middle to go to the dash board, then press the menu button, then select quit the game seems to launch properly. OR ... If you turn off the Xbox, turn off power at switch, wait a while, then restart, it usually works. This still shouldn't happen though. It is a poor show on Bungie's part.

6 RepliesTry changing the disc, then after that game loads up, put in destiny again. This is what I do when ever this happens to me, hope it helps.

I have the same problem. Are you on xbox 360? The only difference is that I'm a level 29 and a second level 25 so ive had the game for awhile.

You may need to clear your cache to get out of this state. Shut down the system, unplug it for 10 minutes and plug it back in.
