I mean think about it. I get to have all my Legendary Weapons and Armor get scrapped, then get new weapons and armor with the higher levels of damage/defense ratings, so I can play a lot more of the game every day doing the bounties to get that XP you can't get while playing Raids. That is awesome, but it is really a missed opportunity that we don't get our characters reset XP as well. I mean its just lost opportunity. It took nearly 3 months to get them all to level 30 with the raid armor drop rates. With being able to buy light 31 armor, the re-XP would have gone lot faster, but at least it would give players some goals and some feeling of getting stronger again. It would also have been great to have to replay all those story missions with white, green, and blue weapons until can finally start using legendary/exotic weapons. Of course to buy new legendary, would first have to re-rank with the Factions. I mean they offer better gear now, so should have to re-unlock those ranks. I mean for people that really enjoy the game, the best thing would have been to reset it all. It's only 3 months, and XP grinding and unlocking weapon/character etc perks to try out new things is the best reason to play Destiny anyway.
