There is no reason that I should die in one or two shots to anything that isn't a sniper or a rocket. It makes absolutely no sense for the super to be shot down so quickly. Especially since agility makes such an insignificant overall difference even with fleet footed equipped.
Those who say it already has an armor buff, and that dancers take rockets to the face, no. That only happens when there is bad connection.
Before people start talking shit saying git gud and scrub. No, I'm really decent and play conservatively for the most part. It just really bugs me that there is really no chance to get to other players because by the time you do, you're dead. Even when flanking with vanish, it still doesn't make a difference because they'll turn and I'll still die before I can reach them.
I'm not saying it should be an extreme buff, but enough to not be shot down immediately, it's supposed to be a close range super and it's the one thing it can't do.
Edit: this forum is way too sensitive at the sight of the word buff. Let me make it clear that I'm not asking for God mode here, but rather a simple 20-25% increase. That is more than enough to still be able to make it to an enemy and not get mowed down. If people aren't going to read the OP but comment irrelevant garbage information, then save yourself the time.

There definitely is some sort of damage difference for bladedancers. When im the hunter it doesn't seem like it but when im my warlock fighting a bladedancer i definitely notice a difference in damage taken. A shotgun shot and a melee always always kills everyone for me, but never never a bladedancer.

In pvp an extra buff would be ridiculous
-
This is a joke right? It takes a clip of any at to knock down a blade dancer shield and The same for the health afterwards
-
idiot

Buff? I shot a guy directly with my hezen vengeance rocket launcher when he was in blade dance, he barely lost any shield. Buff the damn rocket launcher really.

Edited by Lost Sols: 12/13/2014 5:27:50 PM1) lol 2) seriously lol 3) this post actually made me reconsider defending Arcblade in posts calling for it to be nerfed 4) I want my Titan to get a shield buff for FoH, it's too hard to kill multiple targets shooting at you. When I activate it, I'd like it to teleport all opposing players to it's impact site as well. 5)
Bungie, sure my super can last 8-10 seconds and sure I can go invisible before and during use and sure it auto targets and sure it grants additional defense, but I just can't manage to ever kill the entire other team and the other Huntards make fun of me :(
Yes agreed

Agree. Buff Blade Dancer. Titans and Warlocks almost always eat heavy but their super still triggers. Blade Dancer should be able to wipe a whole team while getting shot.

Edited by HypobaricPiano: 12/13/2014 1:18:08 PMThey should buff its offensive capabilities. Perhaps damage increase, or the ability to attack while invisible.

I need 2 rockets to kill a blade dancer. If anything, it's quite OP and needs an nerf.

Bladedancer is op

In my experiences they should Nerf the arc blade defense. The only times you die ate from heavies and supers. From a normal gun you can take a full clip of suros and be tickled. Learn how to use the ability. You can dodge with it. You shouldn't be throwing your face at them. Its all about position, And you can jump ya know. I've got a lvl 30 ( Dont have dlc) hunter and in my experience hunters are just about the most op in the crucible. Now if you were talking about defences for gunslinger, now that's a different story.

Agreed they should buff it

Bump.
