After a while of thinking I could be a novel writer I finally realized I want to write for video games. I've thought about it before Destiny released, but only when I played Destiny (in all it's bad story glory) I realized I wanted to do nothing more than fix the hell out of the story. I know it's not the same as novel writing, but one day I would like to make a game of my own. For now getting into the gaming industry is priority. I'm in my last semester in college, receiving a BA in Creative Writing. I've only had my work published in my school paper back in high school and entered a few contest (currently working on a play as a last chance to make sure writing is what I really want to do). Beyond that I don't really have experience and that seems to be the key for getting into the game industry. Unfortunately, I can't apply to internships at game studios since I am graduating and can't afford to go for my Masters at the moment. Is there any advise on what I should do to get my foot into the door before I end up as an empty uncreative shell working in a office job I hate?
