Bungie; I think it would be really nifty if patrols were a bit more challenging. Or perhaps had a challenge mode, where enemies are much stronger/drops are better/resources are more plentiful. Maybe special zones for this, I'm not sure how you would pull it off. Sort of a take on your old Firefight stuff? Maybe the longer you remain in the zone, the tougher things get---but the rewards get better and you get more resources. That way you have a reason to bring those people who are good at finding things. You don't want to be there forever. No one can last forever. Most areas here are a Darkness zone. And you can't Orbit aside from select spots. So if you want to go check out an area, you'd better be able to fight your way in and fight your way out. Why does it matter? [b]Because if your whole team goes down, you lose anything you gained on the mission.[/b] So those 'finders' out there need the killers, and the killers need the finders. It would really allow for some long term exciting gameplay. Bigtime rewards for bigtime risk taking---you could turn whole patrol areas into what would amount to a constant Raid or Nightfall. That Walker dropping would suddenly be a REALLY big deal. If there are other teams nearby who look like they're feeling brave, you give it a try. If not, you run like hell. Just my two cents.
