So, you may have heard that new vanguard/crucible armor that gets you to lvl 30+ is coming out and replacing the current gear. And you may have heard that it requires a commendation to buy, which you get in packages from ranking up vanguard/crucible. If you're really close to ranking up in vanguard or crucible, i recommend buying a class item from a different faction and putting it on until tuesday so you can then take it off and pretty much instantly get the rank up and get the package with the chance at getting the commendation. EDIT: im guessing that other factions (dead orbit, new monarchy, FWC) will probably give you commendations according to the type of marks they take. Ex: new monarchy takes crucible marks, so they will probably give crucible commendations. The dark below preview post in the news tells about the commendations, but does not specify whether or not other factions will give them in packages.
