Straightforward. Pick your favorite and say why you chose.
Edit 1: I didn't forget any but the polls have a 7 choice limit. I thought timurs lash would be more popular than lord high fixer
i was wrong
I apologize if your favorite is not one of the 7.

Lord High Fixer or Red Hand Neither in the poll

Edited by Zwei Fear: 12/8/2014 3:06:27 AMYou aren't as good as you think you are with HC's unless you swap to fit the arena you're in. Hawkmoon in any mid to large size map. The Last Word in any small to mid size map. Thorn I will use in any map. You have to adjust your play style accordingly. Less aggressive, more methodical.

Fatebringer.

Edited by Liberty WaIk: 12/7/2014 11:06:42 PMOnce again I will break it down so everyone gets this… PS4 users the best hand cannon without question is Hawkmoon. Xbox 1 users the best hand cannon is a tie between Fatebringer and Red Hand. This is simple. No science to it.

I've not had a chance to use alot of these but I've heard good things about all of them the first handcannon i used was my rare sir isaac which i loved then i got the lord high fixer in an engram and loved it aswell but when i got my last word in the crucible i have not looked back im sure i would love the h.moon and thorn if i had them but tlw animations is what got me excited about the gun and it hasn't disappointed me yet its safe to say i will be upgrading this gun when i get the chance.
-
Can we just say hand cannons are awesome
-
It's hard to pick as I use a few for different things. Possibly over all it would be the devil you know just as I have had it for the longest and have killed many things with it. Great range, impact it is pretty perfect for strikes. I get killed from it a fair amount when I play pvp, which is good to know other people like it. That said the thorn is a beast as is fatebringer and pretty much any other hand cannon.
-
Red Hand IX or Venation III.
-
Fatebringer is by far the best
-
Glad to seen thorn taking second....would be my first but since fatebringer is a legendary it wins
-
Thorn for crucible. I was honestly amazed they buffed it as much as they did, I thought it was viscous before the buff!
-
Thorn for PvP and Fatebringer for PvE
-
Thorn has been my Crucible gun since before the nerf. Nothing has changed for me beyond actually seeing other people use it
-
I voted Thorn. It was Timur's lash since I got the lucky bullet and max range its a beast but with the buff to Thorn it outplays it in every aspect(rate of fire, reload, and clip size to name a few). That's my pvp preference though cause I don't use many of my hand cannons in pve. I loved TLW when I got it now I can't stand it.
-
I love my Timur's Lash. Super disappointed I can't upgrade its damage
-
Timurs back lash.
-
Before the buff thorn would of been around 2% lol joke it's the go to scrub gun for crucible now. Fatebringer until I get my hawk moon :)
-
Fate bringer would be hawk moon if I had it
-
In Pvp i go with my Last Word, just love that Beast In Pve Fatebringer and Hawkmoon
-
:( My Favorite isn't listed. Lord High Fixer (as you've noted) is a great legendary hand gun. Mine has "Explosive Rounds" and "Rangefinder" (among other things) and it's perfect for low level enemies and the weak foes in everything else. It mows them down very nicely. I have it equipped for just about everything but the raid, and then I use VoC mostly
-
I don't have Fatebringer, but looking at it in my opinion. It's probably the best hand gun next to, The Devil You Know and Hawkmoon.
I'm not a fan of Last Word I hate it.
-
Hawkmoon is the best hand cannon all around, no doubt. Fatebringer is a close second because it's availability to use Godzillahorn or Ice breaker. Hawkmoon can literally 1hko someone on crucible wit a headshot. 2hko's happen very often, as well.
-
Thorn for PvP, Timur's lash with field scout for PvE.
-
Hawkmoon. Looks awesome, sounds awesome, hits like a truck, capable of 2HKO's in Iron Banner, and is actually deserving of the Exotic title.
-
Edited by Dididak: 12/7/2014 7:03:43 PMTimur's lash for end-game content. The Last Word for when I need to bump my K/D in crucible. Thorn for general dicking around in both PvE and PvP.
-
Hawkmoon by far. I have yet to try out the Fatebringer but I've heard they're similar
