85% of destiny players have no clue how to play control
control is one of my favorite crucible game modes, skirmish being second. While playing control I've noticed that my biggest enemy is not the other team..... It's MY team!
Here's a few things you should avoid when playing control
- DONT FLIP THE SPAWN
the worst of the worst sins you could do in a crucible game. If your team has two points capped don't be a greedy little -blam!- and try to go for the enemy's point, all it accomplishes is the spawn getting flipped and we losing one of our points or possibly two. If you have two points just lay back and defend.
-FOLLOW YOUR TEAMMATES
destiny is a numbers game. Most often the team that has the most players in a firefight will win. your not helping anyone by trying to flank around.
-DEFENDER TITANS SAVE YOUR SUPER
I play defender titan myself and I personally feel they have the most valuable super in the control game mode. save the ward of dawn (Thunder dome, boxing ring, bubble trouble) or whatever you want to call it for when the enemy is trying to cap one of your points or to take a point that the enemy already capped.
If you follow these three rules you will have a lot more control wins a promise you :)
