Why Are People Mad About Multiplayer

Why are people constantly upset that they are "forced" into the multiplayer portions of the game and demanding that bungie "fix" it? Destiny was always marketed as a game heavily reliant on multiplayer so people knew what they were getting into. I am not hating on people who like to play games solo, just curious about the thought process behind picking a game that is designed as a multiplayer experience when that's just not your thing? And even more why you should think that demanding that they change a core concept of the game because it doesn't fit your play style makes any sense. If you bought the game without any prior knowledge it is unfortunate but the multiplayer and PVP requirements of the game are not problems that need to be fixed. They are what the game is all about. I personally can't stand the Grand Theft Auto games, and therefore I don't play them. I don't buy a GTA game and then demand that they make the game easier to play without driving because I don't enjoy doing that part.

  • No idea. I love the crucible. Really fun. Maybe its too challenging so they come on here to cry about it.

  • Aside from the lack of higher tier matchmaking. I think what upsets people is that playing PVE after the initial leveling is more or less an option, where as PVP is a requirement for some exotic bounties and the only guaranteed way to get certain loot (e.g. Iron Banner). Since raiding is not guaranteed anything. The PVE players want more events focused on PVE. Even the queen's wrath had a bunch of PVP bounties. While you could still get rep with her by only doing PVE, you got a lot more by doing both. If there had been Iron Banner PVE bounties as well, I think people would have been less irritated. At least that's my take on it.
