Aside from the usual balancing act that Bungie do in their updates, often nerfing some stats and occasionally beefing others up, there have been some changes in the last update that I'm disappointed in. The first is that while players can purchase upgrade materials from Quartermasters it appears that we can no longer sell surplus materials we hold to them as we've been allowed to do so in the past. This was a nice way of gaining glimmer and reputation for those who made a habit of looking out for upgrade materials while on their travels. The second, and possibly more disturbing, is that while Xûr now sells Exotic Shards, it seems he does so at the expense of having Exotic Engrams available. Maybe this is just a one off for the first time he's appeared after the upgrade? Let's hope so otherwise what else is there to spend Motes of Light on other that to deck out our wardrobes with fashionable attire from The Speaker. Decrypting an Exotic Engram from Xûr was a great way to get all manner of Ascendant Materials. Am I being unfair in my disappointment in these changes? Opinions please...
