Wondering what my best option is for giving me the best chance at getting the helmet or body I need to get my Hunter to 30 before DLC drops. Normally I just run Hard every week, however I started to think that I may actually be hurting my chances by doing so. Basically Hard adds certain weapons to the loot pool, all of which I have (except Timepiece but I don't care). If I run normal first would it increase my chances simply by the reasoning that on one run I have a reduced loot pool for weapons? My plan would be the following: 1) Run normal up to Atheon. Don't do Atheon as I would want the double roll for the helmet (I've gotten 2 helmets before on other characters, multiple times). 2) Complete Hard In theory it makes sense (to me at least), however the one thing that makes me skeptical is whether or not Hard has a better drop rate for armor in general (ie single Hard roll has a higher % chance for armor vs single Normal roll). My personal experience is that I've gotten more frequent armor drops on Hard, however I might be overlooking the fact that I'm double rolling every time. Would I actually be hurting my chances if I ran normal since I won't be double rolling on Hard? If you have any sort of idea, unsure or not, please let me know! EDIT: The helm dropped last night, probably should have had an exotic body leveled already but I seemed to completely overlook the possibility of the helm dropping first. Also I got 2 Found Verdicts from Oracles, wtf why is that even possible?
