who else has been raiding from week one and is still level 29?
Self explanatory I've been raiding every week from when the vog was first opened and have 3 Lvl 29 characters because the game refuses to give my titan gauntlets (he's the first character I made) so far for my titan I've gotten kabrs forceful greaves FIVE TIMES!!!! And 2 chests

5 RepliesThe question is how are you still not 30, if you have time to raid since the beginning, you'd have time to grind the iron banner which was really easy with the buff, that's two armors. 1 exotic. only 1 raid gear needed, although it was specifically (for hunters) chest or head. Chest piece was sold in the last iron banner though

Not since week one. And only with one character for many weeks. But over my now three characters I have fully completed the raid 7 times, been in and completed parts of it on normal and hard over 20 times. For armor I got exactly one set of boots for an alt. My main hasn't received one piece of armor, but he at least got a bunch of raid weapons. I took my main through Iron Banner only, but he's still level 29. All my characters are level 29. I really don't mind. The expansion and new gear/raid will be better for luck and getting to 32 and that's what I'll be working towards after the expansion.

I noticed gear from the normal raid dropped when I was lvl 27-28, but haven't seen jack shit since I turned level 29. Might be level based..

unlucky took me 21 goes to get a full set then 3 more goes to complete my other 2 characters to 30 but for the 1st 4 goes i got only a gun and week after week even no i watch the worst players on the raid get exotics and armor so easy always the same the worst player in the game gets its it all. last week i seen some poor gamer get 3 exotics and 2 bits of armor and shards lol he hit like 40 kills the entire game he was terrible

10 RepliesEdited by Gulf Coast Girl: 12/4/2014 5:41:46 PMI looked at your Grimoire card (which carries the combined total for all of your characters) and you've completed the Raid 31 times. The VoG has been open for roughly 11 weeks so while your numbers make sense (3 characters over 10 weeks), you have not done everything you COULD do to get your drops. For armor you should run the Normal mode first each week (smaller loot table = bigger chance at armor over a gun)... THEN run the Hard mode. From your numbers, you are only raiding one character once per week. You should be running them twice to up the chances of your armor drop. I've completed the Raid 58 times and I have 2 level 30s. I was struggling to get gear too but running normal then hard on each character got me the last pieces I needed within 2 weeks. Good luck... I know it's frustrating

Chest boots gloves plus exotic helm = 30. GG. If your legit. Then your in the minority and har been getting screwed. Armor has better chance (helm aside) on normal. However u get double loot rolls on hard. But those are Hm loot drops which have a greater variety. In any case. U will have other options to hit 30 after dlc. So hang in there.

you should have got iron banner gaunts. i got the banner boots to get me to level 30, and now i have the raid boots anyway.

I feel bad for you, but my titan got gloves and chest on the first and only run in the VoG with her. Unfortunately I already HAVE exotic chest so that did nothing for me.

1 ReplyNot trying to be a smart ass, just want to know why you never bought No Backup Plans for your Titan? That would have got you to 30. I understand your frustration though; I didn't get gauntlets for any character until last week. I haven't been raiding since week one, probably week 3 or 4 though.
