Living in Texas, I frequently feel oppressed for my political views. I won't go into detail, but living in America is supposed to mean political freedom. However, the polar bureaucracy of the American political system seems to leave little wiggle room for moderates. In Texas I try to avoid politics when talking to people like the plague, mostly to void ending in a long meaningless debate where I feel that my reason or logic is not good enough to persuade deeply entrenched fellow Texans to at least respecting me and my opinions. I leave conversations feeling attacked and hurt. So my question to you is "Do you ever feel politically oppressed?"
