Being a frequent crucible player, I've been getting quite annoyed with the amount of people I've been getting shotgunned and fusion rifled by. I don't really have a problem with snipers because they take skill to use....but you can't force people to use snipers, there are multiple ways I think that bungie can fix this,
1. Making a new gametype in which no heavy or special ammo drops, this can make games more exciting with more intense gunfights. I also think this might be a great way to have a more balanced PVP system and bring more competitive players to the game.
2. Making it so that players can be put with who they would like, what this would mean is you could add a setting in which players could modify what type of people they at match made with. For example, before I start up my game of control I could edit my modifiers to be placed with players that like to use snipers and any primary as their main weapons, and be put with players who play the objective. The way this could work is destiny heads into the players stats and checks to see that they have more kills with certain weapons than they do with others, it could also check to see if they play the objective more, or if they play more aggressively, by checking the players captures per game. This option could mean longer loading screens....but I think it will make up for better PVP.
These are a few ways I think PVP could be more fun/balanced in destiny, I am not hating on PVP because I play it a lot and I think it is a lot of fun, please bump this post so maybe bungie could see it, and implement some of these features. I would also love to see some of your ideas as well!
