I have resisted this message for a long while. I wanted to give Bungie the time to grow Destiny into the game it could (and should) be. I only realize now that Destiny is what it will always be. I have written and deleted my problems and concerns with this game 7 or 8 times now. My issues with this game are limitless, ranging from minute, to gargantuan. The truth is, it doesn't matter what I think. It doesn't matter what anyone who plays this game thinks. The structure of this franchise--based around maximum profit for the distributor--was established years ago, and it is not going to change. What it comes down to is that this game isn't that fun. My concerns, multiplied a thousand times by the expressions of the men and women who have also spent their time on Destiny, will always be met with deaf ears by Bungie and Activision. Destiny is about making money--it is a game designed for profit. Destiny will never focus on making a truly incredible experience for its players. This, among a number of other exasperations, is why I will no longer be wasting my time on a game that insists that it is "a game worth just another $15 in order to become good".
