The Best Oracle Destroyer Is ...........
Raid guns as well as exotics & standard Legendarys. I like C/measure maxed & getting materials to max A/epilogue now. What works best for you?? What's the monster??

Thanx for the responses! Keep em coming. AE is maxed, need to finish up Hezen. Maybe my TLW is next. I do like the primary answers. Ammo more plentyful, and yea r/launchers & mg's do the trick, but at what cost? Heavies are pricy & cooldowns suck!
Question? Does a certain type elemental seem to deal more damage or any (with good impact) gets it done? I lean to solar imo.

7 RepliesPraetorian Foil is the best hands down anyone who says otherwise either doesn't have it maxed or doesn't have it period. It's one of the most random and rare raid drops.

3 RepliesAny raid gun. The crucial thing is to shoot it THE MOMENT IT SPAWNS. Memorise it's locations and have your gun pointed there ready to shoot. The oracle gains strength if it's allowed to spawn unmolested but if you shoot it as it appears it's destroyed in just a few shots. Try it, you will see it makes exiting the portal much quicker. I'm not making it up, I've done the raid nearly 40 times.

VoC for me. No I do not have Foil. Fatebringer is my favorite gun in the game right now, but it is not the best for Oracles.

I'm gonna throw out something I haven't seen mentioned. Super good advice. With fully upgraded it doesn't register hitting the oracles as actually doing damage so you get most if not all of your ammo back. Can easily solo the oracles.

Oracles do not count as targets so for the Super Good Advice this is almost every round. My friend did the Oracles solo on hard mode as a 29 and only used 15 rounds from a 56 round mag. Pocket Infinity also works well but its special buff is no anything like the SGA's. It is effective enough though to be used and clear out solo.

Praetorian foil oneshots oracles in the hard mode raid. Even when it's used by a 29

SGA returns most of the ammo to itself because oracles don't count as hits for some reason so you could do that to conserve ammo.
