Why The Black Garden's Heart Had to be Destroyed

Yeah, seems reasonable!

No. I don't really think so

I've seen a video or two that showed concept art of the Black Garden. Beneath the grass and flowers and the rest, you can see a white ground. The surface looks curved, as if it were inside of a sphere. What's the traveler? A giant, white, sphere. I think that the Vex may have used their ability to teleport and teleported inside the traveler, where they then corrupted it, thus leaving it dormant. When you go to destroy the heart of the Black Garden, everything around you looks drab. Once you destroy the heart, everything is bright and beautiful. By destroying the heart, you released the traveler from its dormant state. But that's just my theory. Tell me what you think below, and like it, as well. If you disagree, please tell me why! I appreciate all feedback! Thanks for reading! EDIT 1. Saw this in the comments. Cuddos, Adhock!
....Actually not a bad theory. We don't know when the Vex found the Black Heart exactly (and since they travel though time it doesn't seem to matter) and the Darkness is made up of the negative aspects of the Universe. One of which would have been corruption. So who's to say that during it's fight with the Darkness, in the Darkness's own last ditch attempt to kill the Traveler, it infected it to keep it asleep while it bought time to collect itself to come back and finish the job. The Vex with their ability to travel through time probably came from the past because it would have been easier to being the long building process then. (Time being fluid and pointless to them since they can lock things out of time) and with the Traveler out cold, it can't stop the infection of both the Vex and the miasma. Guardians act as the white blood cells to the Traveler clearing out the infection and letting the Traveler heal.
• Option 3: I have no -blam!-ing clue why the heart needed to be destroyed. Really. Apparently it was something to do with the Vex but I have no idea if it was an evil force or what it even was or did. The game just told me to kill it so I did. GG Destiny story.
