All these updates and DLC's... Looking at it, the story and PvE is still majorly lacking... By the looks of it, most players that came for the story, should just go to other games and wait the ten years and buy the game with everything already... Will be much, MUCH cheaper... And so people can see what I mean, And all you came for PvE can show everyone why they feel this game is a rip off... Here's a few videos... No I'm not asking you to watch them, Heck, Some would take you a few days to finish watching... This game sells for the PvP alone... All they advertise is PvP and whatever Little thing they bring with each new CoD, like Zombies... This video is over 2 hours long... It's over 2 hours long Assassins Creed Unity - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vweae5BBFo Now Assassin Creed may not fit to most gamers here... But it's still worth noting due to it being a new release... Just over three hours long... Final Fantasy 14 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aU5N24_5VIk Now this is an MMO... Fully online, just like Destiny... And it's a pay to play game... It's over two hours long... Now lets do Destiny - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXM5x0d05xs 35 minutes................................. Wait, 35 minutes of cut-scenes.... Isn't that a little low??? With each of the other games that were mentioned, They had hordes of different types of mobs... Not just recolors and resizes... All the mobs in any 'one' of those games, trump Destiny's mobs by at least 50... The maps in each are HUGE, not to mention that the DLC's only added little bits and pieces to an already good story... Everything was explained in the beginning of the games and the DLC's just added a little more for you to enjoy... Now, I get there's a 10 year contract... 10 years of content waiting for players... But that 10 years, shouldn't be what they already made, tested, and locked away just to sell it for more money... Bungie could have given players what they had and held a little back, just in case, and made new content... It's ten years, That may be easier said then down... But it can be done, and more players would be happy... At this rate, A lot of players are only gonna be on for weeklies and the first two DLC's... Others have already quit and will either wait, or never come back... Soon, EVERYTHING is gonna be PvP, cause thats the only player base thats gonna be left... Even with the upcoming DLC, We'll be lucky if we get another 35 minutes of story... Oh, and keep in mind... Thats 35 minutes of video and the full 'story' of destiny, may only be like 45 - 50 minutes... not including the missions themselves... EACH game has up to an hour or more in videos... But their story in halo wasn't just the cut-scenes, It was also told throughout the game by Master Chief... Along with and NPC that followed you... So i kinda don't feel its fair that Halo had less Cut-scenes... But they focused more on their PvP anyways with the newer Halo games...
