With Black Friday and Christmas coming, I figured I can get a deal on a new headset for my XB1 and PC. I'm currently using the crappy mic that came with my phone with an XB chat adapter. Most headsets are too heavy and/or large because they're made for guys and I'm a smaller girl. TB X12s were a great weight but a little large for my head, my bf's Titanfall headset was a good size width- wise but way too heavy. After reading tons of reviews, I think I've narrowed it down between: The Siberia v3 ($99) are way cheaper, lighter, and more comfortable but less durable though they have similar sound quality to the Astros according to reviews. The Astro a40s ($250) are definitely more expensive and bulkier (about 2x weight of Steelseries), but I've heard they're great quality overall and the mixamp is has great reviews. Is it worth the extra $150 for the Astros? Any other headsets I should consider? Thanks in advance!
