Titans should have defence beefed up!!!!!!!!

I think it's wrong how defence on all three classes are similar, the warlock can regain HP pretty quick and the hunter can move pretty quick but the Titan feels left out for me... I really want that class to work but it just doesn't if the defence stats don't add up as it takes a while for them to regain HP and they aren't as quick with movement and still they get one hit KO by equal or lower level (marginally) of any class.... just want a vote for #Bungie and #Destiny to see what's up!!!! Do you think the same as me? #EDIT1: Wasn't the point of the Titan to be a stone wall sentinel or a tank on the field? It is neither of the two whereas the other two classes sort of fulfil their purpose...

  • Yeah let's give them more defense so you never win a fair 1 on 1 in the crucible against a titan. This is not a bold statement against you but the lack of separate pvp/pve balancing.

      They need to have a multiplier for each class. Titans: 1.2x-1.5x Defense Stat Hunters: 1.2x-1.5x Single Target Damage Warlocks: 1.2x-1.5x AOE Damage

    • I think Titans are perfect right now. Their extra armor is definitely noticeable if you have played all 3 classes, plus they have arguably the best jump. Also I think Striker Titan is the most enjoyable thing to play in the game. Honestly if anything Hunters need some sort of buff to their movement speed. They are faster than the other classes but only marginally so, and they lose out on a lot of armor/recovery to gain that speed. Being marginally faster would be fine if the extra speed counted for anything but it doesn't actually help you out in any noticeable way. When I switch to my Titan I most definitely notice the extra armor and recovery, but going back to my Hunter I don't notice any advantage in speed (also speed really doesn't help survivability at all right now).

      • When I first got the game I just assumed the three classes would have their own little perks. For example, Titan more defence and melee power, hunters higher crit multipliers and warlocks higher elemental damage modifiers. Not huge bonuses on any of these but enough to make them feel a little different. Currently they all play very similarly. It is a shame.

        • Is it not regardless of class ( Titan,Hunter,Warlock ) but more on your [b]ARMOR[/b] stat? A Titan can forego Armor for more Recovery or more Agility if you so wish. But the Perks/Skills for a Titan synergises well with a high Armor stat, so I guess that stat will be most used as a Titan, Making sure to pick the proper Titan Codex Perk as they see fit. It's the perk and the stats that matters. 2 cents worth.

            • i would like the varieties in the classes to be more noticable. sure one aspect is always more inline with a class,. eg a hunter and titan can focus on both speed and armour, where as a warlock has to match regen with either speed or armor. He cant get both speed and armor. That said ....as it stands I have my hunter and titan on near equal par in terms of agility and armor (or as good as) it doesnt seem specialised quite enough to me. sure the titan has a tad more in the armor bar and tad less in the agility bar. but for all intents and purposes they are equally fast, and equally tough, and with equal defence on gear at the same light level, probably indestinguishable except for thier class abilities. This i think is a bit of a down fall. for me id much rather if you were titan your armour bar was always in a range of 70 to 100% and your agility or regen bar only ever managed to get up to 50% . so you had some freedom but not as much. then what do i know maybe this was how the designers made it originally and in testing found it made one class too strong and other classes too weak so they made them more equal. anyway the only practical way to modify this now would be the defense value on certain armor pieces being tweaked slightly based on the class it was for, as pvp sets all values to a base level/scale so it wouldnt be effected.

              nah, just give defender his shield for HITTING an enemy like the warlock, or make the warlock have to kill something. striker is melee - shoulder charge, juggernaut to get up close, increased FoH leap, etc. defender is support/tank - overshields, buffs, quickest super cool down (I think?)

            • They could make Ward of Dawn aggro enemies. That way instead of a buff bubble you could utilize helm of saint 14 with armor of light and a shotgun and literally just tank.

              It's not necessarily the defense that bothers me. Just the abilities could use a minor buff. Ward of Dawn needs a little tweaking to be more "indestructible" instead of being a multi kill cage. PvE wise, it would be great if the shield did DoT to enemies that walked within or pushed them back negating entry. I hate when Aksor is all like "Oh thanks for setting up this shield for me, don't mind if I do".

                  • "Hunter can move pretty quick" Then explain to me why I never overtake all these so called slower classes? I'll tell you why: agility doesn't do crap for speed. Bladedancer is the only class that actually feels faster, and that's because one of the perks literally says "increases movement speed".

                    • I have one of each, and I feel Titans need a considerable armor buff... just make it equal in PvP, then classes would matter, right now Titan is UP, needs buff
