Error caterpillar and sudden xbox live disconnect.

I have tried every method in the bungie help desk and resetting my modem/router 15 times and nothing has worked. I am legitimately getting pissed. I bought the game a few weeks after launch and ran it perfectly. Then after the new update I can't play the damn thing. Please do something to fix this or give me an answer.
