WARNING: this might be a little long idk So I'm 18 and have been playing Pokemon since I was 6 or 7. Now that I'm growing up I kinda feel like the facial expressions that the npc's make are a little TOO happy/child oriented. I just wish they could orient the game to fit all ages. I'm not saying everyone should have on a stern face, but honestly after playing omega ruby for a bit I get annoyed with the facial expressions. Like when I first played ruby/sapphire/emerald I could have sworn Wally was my age. But I felt stupid when I met Wally and he was a little kid. Like 7 or 8 years old. And he wants to be my rival????? And WHY can't I change the age of my character? I'm forever stuck as a 10 year old? And why why oh why is the game extremely easier. I remember fighting my female rival at least 4 or 5 times before I got to mount chimney. 1) the beginning. 2) up past the first town. 3) when you're leaving rustboro city on your way to dewford 4) up past mauville on your way to fallarbor. In the new game I fought her like 2 or 3 times?? Cmon game freak. And the dewford gym was a struggle in the old generations. That was fun. Traveling in the dark expanding the light in the room as you win battles till you beat the gym leader. But no, this gym was a disappointment in ORAS. And I noticed that the gym leader's Pokemon are a bit weaker in terms of levels as compared to their past generation sprites. *shrugs* I love Pokemon and I love how nostalgic ORAS Is. Just a little rant. Thoughts? Opinions? I wanna hear them all. Come rant
