VoG got me with my pants around my ankles
Let me start by saying i've been stuck at 29 for almost 2 months with my hunter. I did the raid last night, everything went smoothly besides a little trouble at Atheon. Finished in about 1 1/2 hours. Throughout the whole raid, multiple team mates got at least 2 pieces of raid armor, one person even got corrective measure. After the Templar i got praedyth's revenge...My second one. The rest of the raid including Atheon was just shards or energy. Oh and lets not forget my 4th chatterwhite. I just need my boots!
Edit: Let me also add, 2 weeks ago someone asked for my help with Atheon on hard mode. We completed it and i got my raid helmet. So i am just still shy of those damn boots.
I should really start another hunter just to do the raid twice....My RNG luck sucks :(

1 ReplyI destroyed my alts. I made 3 warlocks so I can own RNG. RNG will NOT beat my 3 warlocks. My 3 30 warlocks (thank you vault gear swap) will prevail And the raid of Crota will NOT stop me from 32. Now I beat RNG. It's all about playing those Vegas Destiny slot machine odds [spoiler]I do miss my Titan hulk smash and Bladedancing a bit....just a little bit.....sigh....[/spoiler] [spoiler]but I don't miss that stupid double, triple jump. Man after gliding alpha, beta, and hours in full game that hunter jump would screw with me fierce. [/spoiler]

What you rally should of done was iron banner. They practically gave away boots. I don't feel sorry for you at all.

15 RepliesI finally got my warlock to 30, but all I get for hunter and titans are the gloves. So Iron Banner comes out and I grind away to get my hunter to rank 5 and the Titan to rank 3. Buy the boots for both, so now all I need is a chest piece for either. (I've never gotten a raid chest, in 20+ full clears on any character). So I take my hunter in to do the raid and I finally get.... The god damn boots.... Of course. Hopefully my luck is better this week, and same to you.

1 ReplyAlready have my warlock and hunter at 30, did the raid twice on hard on Monday, 2x helms for each, another gloves for my warlock. Did from oracles - gatekeeper today on my warlock, 2x boots and Plan C. Not going badly, would love a vex and fatebringer though. :)

That sucks. My last run, I got Praedyth's Revenge (second one, but whatever) off the Templar, Corrective Measure off Gatekeeper, and Epilogue off of Atheon. Everything else was Shards and Energy, which I then put into my Prime Zealot Cuirass (from my second run), CM and AE, and Mask of the Third Man. When I run this weekend, if I get enough shards to upgrade Iron Regalia Sleeves, I could be 30 by the end of the Raid.

Shoulda grinded IB for the boots man being at the mercy of RNG is no bueno.

2 RepliesYou definitely should. I have three warlocks and run the raid with each character every week. As a result, I have duplicates and triplicates of every raid weapon and about 3-5 pieces of each kind of raid gear. Definitely worth the time to level another character up to 20. Hang in there.

It took about 1 and a half hours with a bit of trouble at Atheon. Eh, just convenience I suppose.

10 RepliesYou should have competed in the Iron Banner. Aside from being forced to used auto rifles for the bounty it was fun. You could have bought the boots and been level 30 in no time. Unless you're one of those...
