Petition to change faction currency
Let's begin by saying faction gear is overpriced. Which it totally is. Not only that, but purchasing a faction item requires crucible marks! I'm a prominent PvE player! I should be able to buy these with both types of marks, or just glimmer! Bump so Bungie can see!

Edited by Qmann121: 11/26/2014 2:20:12 PMI feel that along with earning rep for a faction while wearing their cloak/bond/skirt you should also earn marks as well. Just change the vangaurd rep and marks for that factions. Done deal.

You get 6 vanguard marks for completing a 24 strike. Playing a strike and winning a crucible match is roughly the same amount of time, yet you get half the marks, less if you lose. At that rate, you have to play 50 crucible matches [i]winning every single one[/i] to buy a gun. Where as with vanguard, you can play 25 tiger strikes and have enough marks to buy a gun. That's almost HALF the time. And during the strikes, you're [i]guaranteed[/i] at least two blue items, sometimes better. I dunno, seems overlooked to me.

Faction gear costs the same as Vanguard/Crucible gear. But I agree that the choice of currency is odd. They should be able to use either currency.

Totally agree. Factions need to accept both vanguard and crucible marks. The fact that they don't seems extremely short sighted to me.

YES! so much YES! i hate the fact that there are 5 dealers taking Crucible marks and only two taking Vanguard marks.

Not overpriced, the marks come fast enough IMO. However I do agree with you that crucible pts should not be required for faction weapons/gear.

Yes please. Allow us to use Vanguard marks for factions and up the max capacity from 200 to at least 300. Actually I think they said in the last update that they intend for new ways to deal with the vendors, so hopefully its coming anyway.

They should atleast make it so that when u have a faction piece equiped that you earn mutual marks (incase you are leveling factions but buyong from crucible or vanguard)
