Do you think the earth is young or old?
Edit: Young meaning in 6000yrs-10000yrs range.
-
Don't know, don't care. God is real.
-
Middle-aged Earth.
-
Wether God exists or not, we know it's old.
-
Uhh...really surprised by this, the universe is in a constant state of time flux new stars forming and others that make earth look like a toddler it's pretty shallow to look at the scope of the universe in such a small and trivial way
-
Obviously Earth formed last Thursday.
-
Like as in if you think 4.6 billion years is a long time?
-
but earth is only 2015 years old!!!!
hehehehehehehehehehehe
-
I think it's about middle earth
-
4.5 billion years young I believe.
-
Edited by Ricochet 049: 2/4/2015 1:16:06 AMI voted young then read your classification for young. Then switched to old. (I was turned stupid but got better) In retrospect to other things the earth is young. But it's definitely way older than that chosen classification of young.
-
Guys... My gf said she gonna change into more "comfortable" clothes... And the % for Younge Earth is 69%...
-
I'm a Christian and I firmly believe that earth is older than 10,000 years.
-
I'm a creationist.
waiting for an atheist to fedora me to death. 3...2...
-
The earth is around 4.5 billion years old Evolution These are the accepted theories, deal with it
-
88 votes for "young earth"? Oh my. There's more stupid people here than I previously thought.
-
Anyone that says "young" needs some serious help.
-
Mid age And humans are kinda like Earth's mid life crisis
-
Invalid poll. No Middle-Earth option

Edited by ZeroCool: 2/1/2015 4:11:44 PMThe earth is 4.5 billion yrs old. If you condense that entire time down to 24hrs, humanity has only lived for little over a minute... Now if you want to delve into the realm of conspiracy and psuedo science, then you will find out that a large number of people believe in the Underground Empire theory, beings whoblive beneath the surface of our world, in which humans actually lived a lot longer and were advanced, within a huge solar community and then all died from the result of a major cataclysm, leaving but a few humans on earth to start over from literal scratch, forgetting all knowledge that we once had. Some speculate that our solar system is sprinkled with ancient artifacts of that ageel, in a way, our own golden age. But believe whatever you want, meh.
-
People invented tv and cell phones only a few decades ago, of course the Earth is young
-
I don't know and I don't care. Everything that included humans happened in the last 10000 years. I believe that the Earth is old (4.5 billion or whatever the hell they say it is), so yea look at me I'm smart.
-
I will pray for everyone who voted "Old Earth" May God be with you.

Edited by TunnelSnakesRule: 1/28/2015 9:05:33 PMRelative to what? The Universe? The Milky Way? Sol? Edit: Your definition of a "young earth" is a complete misrepresentation of comparative words such young, old, big, small......etc as these are qualitative statements which have no quantitive basis because they are always in comparison (I.e relative) to something
-
Edited by The Cellar Door: 1/29/2015 12:03:17 AMI don't mean to offend you, but it's hard to believe that some who takes Genesis to heart from a literal standpoint can still able to be considered scientifically intelligible in the modern world.
-
22 fûcking percent

I want to know the age of the OP. His definition of a young Earth is crazy small. You are defining new born Earth with that range
