Post-PAtch 1.0.3 Connection Issues: CATERPILLAR, HAWK, ETC.

Dear Bungie and/or Deej Alright guys, whats the deal here? I had rampant connection issues for the first week after release, which I attributed to growing pains for a new franchise. I could deal with that. Those problems were fixed and I have been enjoying the hell out of Destiny since (RNG not withstanding.) However, now that you released a MASSIVE patch, I've spent the entire week fighting through ERROR CODE: CATERPILLAR, HAWK, (INSERT RANDOM ANIMAL HERE,) all the while praying I could stay connected long enough to reach IB level 4. I even followed all of your suggestions for solving connection issues on bungie.net... guess what? They made it worse. As soon as I forwarded my ports and made my IP static, my NAT type dropped to strict and I wasn't even able to log in. So, naturally, I reset my router back to defaults and I'm back at square one. I average about ten to fifteen minutes between disconnects and I'm sure I don't have to tell you that CATERPILLAR removes you from the game world, forcing you to sit through log in and loading times. There is another 3-5 minutes. Guys, Deej, I love this game. I want to continue loving this game. However, I can't see myself purchasing the Expansion Pass for the new DLCs if these connection issues continue. I WANT TO PLAY DESTINY, not fight the menagerie of error codes only to get to the first loading screen, get kicked, and start all over. I want to support you guys, but you have to work with me here. Last night I was so sick of it I started a new Skyrim character just so I could experience a game that won't kick me while trying to enjoy it. SKYRIM for crying out loud, a game I have played to death. So please, please, fix these ridiculous server errors. If you do, consider me signed on for the next 10 years. If you can't, I'll be forced to find a different game to play. Thanks for your time, bowzor957 (360gt)

  • Same except I've been going for two months and these "help" forums aren't helping if it's not bungie telling me it's my connection it's some troll that seems to have the answers but they are all selling Wolf Tickets!!!

  • This is insane. Day three now of this crap. I can't stay connected for five minutes without getting booted. Trying to farm mats for 30 gear for three days and can't get anywhere. This has only happened since the update. Why does every update screw something up?
