Hard Light takes skill. SUROS does not Hard Light is hard to use. Fusion rifles are not Hard Light has a ricochet perk. Most guns do not Hard light has a perk called "Glass Half Full" and you all know that already. Hard Light has an... Okay impact, strange stability, understandable range and a fast reload. But there's something about Hard Light... It's a pro's go to. If someone has this many setbacks, but can dominate, that says something. Also, the way Hard Light has this many setbacks is what makes it an Exotic. Many people misunderstand the word "Exotic" Exotic means strangely vague or different in [a] way(s) The fact that Hard Light is so challenging to use is what invigorates me to use it as much as possible. I'm a Souls series player The games Demon's Souls and Dark Souls series are renounced to be imperatively difficult. Many players love the satisfaction of overcoming these games and the obstacles they construct. This can be mirrored to Hard Light. Hard Light sets many obstacles .and in which, all those obstacles have a pair of options Option A) Live. Or Option B) DIE. Any Souls player understands that both options are valid, and embrace both options See, as a Hard Light user, I have noticed that the gun fits all the pros of EACH playstyle. Hand Cannons use Hard Light because you need to have a fast pace to kill Campers use Hard Light because it's modest and doesn't require much Marksmen use it because it has a perk that increases stability greatly. You see, Hard Light relies on the player, not the other way around. Hard Light is a challenge that we players either conquer or falter to. Hard Light users are the ones who had the courage to survive alongside a demon. Edit 1: It seems a bizarre few know how to survive the demon... Edit 2: They fail to understand that only pros can use it... And that if a buff comes, they'll whine about it and it'll get nerf'd... But that wouldn't bother me, I go ham with that jam. Edit 3: Hard Light looks and sounds beastly. Edit 4: people think I'm some MLG420BLAZEITSCOPEESALLDAAAAYYYY But no, everyone should probably know that I'm not defending Hard Light because it was my first exotic, or that it's hard to use (if you hate me for defending it's difficulty to use, then I would assume you use SUROS.) I'm defending Hard Light because I love every gun in the game, but Hard Light is takin up too much hate, so I wanted to defend it. If you read the post's title, I'm asking why people hate it so much instead of the title being "argmahgarsh, get hard lite, if u dont u r scrub" What I found out was that almost everyone misunderstands the term "exotic" and that every hardship everyone faces with this gun, I'm able to surpass. Like Bad Juju, it was easy to tame if you got String of Curses. Then I find people who say it just sucks (But we Hard Light users know the truth) Edit 5: It seems that everyone on the forums don't know the word 'exotic' and seem to think that because I understand that Hard Light needs a good player, people think that I think Hard Light is an amazing gun.
