Digital copy of destiny: can we download it on two different PS4 consoles?
I'm currently playing Destiny on my bf's PS4. (We both have separate PSN accounts.) I want to buy my own PS4 now. I was wondering if there if a way for him to download the game on my PS4 or would I have to buy the game? (He bought the digital copy.) If I do buy the game can I retrieve my character on it? Is it automatically saved on my PSN account?

Your ps4: you're the primary account and his account as a secondary: you will not be able to share games from his account. (He can play his games on his account and they are locked on your account) Your ps4: you're the primary account and his account as a primary: you will be able to share games from each others accounts on your ps4. (He would have to make his ps4 his secondary console.) Your ps4 account regardless of settings, console or copy of destiny: carries over your characters. All purchases you make with your account are tied to it. All save data is stored in PS+ cloud.

1 ReplyIf you set the second ps4 as your primary and whoever is on the second ps4 sets your ps4 as their primary it means that anything either of you download can be used by the other person. Setting console as primary means that your account content can be used on any account on it. So by doing this it means you can use the downloaded stuff on your ps4 on your account and any accounts on the second ps4 can also use it.

My brother bought a PS4 then bought a PS4 Destiny bundle when it came out. He has his account on both PS4s and my nephew plays on his own account on the extra PS4. They even play together in a party. So to answer your question: as long as you have your account on both PS4s you can buy Destiny on one PS4 and the other will have it aswell. Same goes with Xbox 1. But I believe they have to be Digital Downloads.

If he has digital download, get on his psn on your ps4 and set that ps4 as that accounts primary console. After you do that, log into your psn on your ps4 and download it. It should be free. That's what all my buddies have been doing.
