How to immerse more people into the Destiny Universe.

I have a word for ya'll. Economy. How much better would this game be with a better economic system? Trading, more uses for currency, ect. But what if we went really in depth? All right, hear me out. Trading system/Purchasing system. Step one is to reduce glimmer earned through playing drastically. Like really drastically. Super drastically. Maybe eliminate it being earned all together! This allows for glimmer to be used to purchase weapons and gear from other players, but the currency is actually worth a damn. You could sell a legendary for 100 glimmer, then use that currency to save up for an exotic, or a legendary that you would otherwise prefer. A trading system like pokemon's would also work with this. You can trade for whatever, but enable previewing items to make sure you're getting a good deal. Now, the glimmer grind would be real, right? How about we start every player off with 150 glimmer. They can use this to purchase whatever they want. This kickstarts the community's sales. Now, how do we obtain more glimmer, but balance everything out? Investing. You know factions? Yeah, uh, they're kinda pointless vendors. What if you could align yourself with a faction, then hold stock with that faction? This stock could increase or decrease based on how well that faction does overall. You can contribute to your factions performance, but you are by no means the only contributing factor. Obviously, this system needs some fine tuning. How do players adjust how much they want to sell an item for? Well, that's for their determination! You could put up a vex mythoclast for 1,000 glimmer, but that's an insane amount of glimmer based on our currency system. No one would buy that! So to sell something, you have to play it SMART. This system appeals to the current audience, whereas the younger people run around shooting stuff in the lacking story. In my point of view, the story isn't worth a damn at this point. I don't want to immerse myself in the story, it's my goal to discover how to enjoy the grind more! I could grind forever to get that Hawkmoon, OR I could obtain a Monte Carlo I don't need and auction it up for a Hawkmoon. Then what happens when I get bored of the Hawkmoon and/or don't like it? Hey, that Shadow Price sure looks neat! Let me trade for one of those! With this system, vendors should be eliminated and glimmer should be reset. The cryptarch needs to play a minor role late-game, and this system needs to be for level 27+ in order to ensure people understand the value of certain things, and don't get tricked by a persuasive individual for a poor trade. Well, these are just my thoughts. Feel free to bash or support this thread.
