Legendary Items
When was the last time you saw a purple engram drop in game?
I keep levelling up Cryptarch but he never gives any, he never upgrades blue to purple. The only time I get purple items is if I buy them or through the postmaster when I level up.
Last time I actually picked up a purple one in games was when you could cave farm before the patch.

I've actually averaged almost 2-3 a day. I just monkey around in the strikes and the daily and one just comes out of an enemies head. I also seem to get them from the cryptarch more often now than before. Yesterday had to be my best day at 5 total. 3 from enemy drop (2 within 10 mins of each other) and 2 from the cryptarch. Though I got nothing special its still fun to hope for an exotic :)
