MY REPORT ON BAD JUJU
I completed "Toland's legacy" bounty. I have been using bad juju for about a few days and honestly it's not bad. Bad juju has the worst reputation out of all bounty exotics! And I don't see the problem. I like using bad juju. Although I do like weapons with a large clip size & stability. So that's why I am giving bad juju 7/10. All bad juju needs a about a 30 mag size clip and go from 25 precise damage to 60 damage & this gun will get a 9/10! A lot of people have been complaining about how it's weak & the low magazine. So for those players that have no idea how to use a weapon...when using bad juju aim for the head for God's sake! The only reason I think you're complaining is cause you all have bad aim! I got 1st place in clash, 17 & 13 that's pretty good! Bad juju is for precision shooters [u]ONLY!![/u] so if you're the type of player that can't get head shots then don't bother using it & don't blame the gun! It's never the gun! It's how you use it. You can't expect to pull the trigger and it'll magically get you a killing spree! I only have 1 perk unlock & I'm having a blast with this weapon. So again bad juju is a great gun, you all just suck at it!!

2 RepliesEasily one of the worst guns in the game. You have to be really determined to like it to force yourself to use it when just about anything is a better alternative. Aiming for the head doesn't really help because every other gun when you aim for the head, is still better. Pulse rifles in general have no real place in this game. With perfect balance, ARs can handle everything in the range a pulse rifle does, without having the drawback of extremely small clips. Scout rifles hit a lot harder and are more accurate at distance. Pulse rifles are just a redundant weapon class right now that have no advantages over ARs or Scout rifles. If ARs got a HUGE accuracy nerf, Pulse rifles could become the short to mid range headshot option, but until that happens, Bad Juju and all it's pulse rifle friends are pretty much worthless.

I do like bad juju but it does need a buff. The only problem I have with it is the clip size and the fact that there are better legendary like super pox and strange suspect. Or the raid pulse rifle

4 RepliesDefinitely It is fun to sometimes kill/troll with bad juju in crucible. But it is nowhere near a decent legendary auto rifle. Fair and square with good stability perk is a lot better.

I knew it was going to look amazing when I saw the model but I didn't realize until after I got it that as you have it equipped you see the green smoke rising out of the skull on the end. The only gun that looks even cooler than Thorn and that's really saying something.

3 RepliesI've only just got it, and I quite like it. The mag size could be bigger considering it's an Exotic, but yeah, it's good. My fully upgraded Pulse Rifle does better, but once it's upgraded, I'll probably use it a lot more.

It is very good at taking down large groups of weaker enemies without having to reload the weapon, Thralls come to mind actually and with the new raid that has the part with the ring and Thralls swarming at you which is where the Bad Juju would shine brightest... maybe more than any other gun. As long as you're not a bad shot and get a kill every 5 bursts. It is meant as a crowd killer but when shooting a spongy boss or Major Captain/Knight is where it blows because you need to reload as often as you shoot. After maxing out the XP with it I have yet to touch it... mostly because I'm working on all of my other guns. Bad Juju will have a special place in the new raid I believe and I'm really curious as to what they are buffing on it... I might just max it out with some Energies just because. Lord knows I have too many materials anyway.

1 Replylol my last word or the red hand IX do better shit than bad juju can. that thing is not worth the trouble at all. and just incase you come back saying i suck, all i ever do is aim for the head. except with red hand since i have explosive rounds. but ever since IB has increased my skills in crucible, I'm landing all my head shots nearly. when i use bad juju, the -blam!-ing thing kicks sky high and does shit damage even at maxed level. but hey, have fun man.

Right if bad juju was 2.5 times better it would be a pretty solid gun. But then again so would any gun in the game

8 RepliesEdited by zamm3k: 11/25/2014 5:36:32 AMThe problem with the JuJu isn't only it's magazine size. It has various handicaps while having very few virtues. It's impact is downright laughable. It's range has to be given up for stability, and this combination is where it all goes wrong. It's a cool gun, and nothing else. As much as I wanted to like it, there's no way you can justify using it as your go to gun. Its not particualrly good at anything. In all honesty, it should have had a ridiculously high impact in order to justify it's 15 bullets and make good use of the signature perk, string of curses; this would have made the gun useable in so many more scenarios.

Bad juju does really suck because I've used it in crucible and went like 5 to 20 when I normaly average about 29 to 10 I would say that the khvostov does better in crucible

8 RepliesIt's a terrible gun for anything challenging. Try taking down a lv30 praetorian with it, good luck. For trash patrol enemies it is pretty decent, but there are about 20 guns that kill stuff as fast/faster. Needs an impact buff and a magazine size buff. 21 sounds fair. Maybe a 25% increase in impact too. It is absolutely not worth the exotic tag nowadays. I would even argue that pulse rifles in general need a tweak, far and away the weakest gun types, and that is part of Jujus problem.

6 RepliesBad Juju is poop, it was my first exotic, good against normal enemies, useless against majors, ultras, and bosses. Its DPS is poop.
