Face it, Titan takes the most skill to play.

(Disclaimer: This is PvP related post) We know its true.. Ask almost any Titan, we are underpowered, and to some degree "broke" (looking at you Catapault!) We have no skillset to act as a crutch for a subpar player. A poorly played Warlock or Hunter can fall back on a skillset to help him along. Ranged melee or easy to aquire sheilds, ranged specials to avoid the onslaught of CQC weapons, Blinks to enhance attacks or evade incoming fire, etc....the list of skills a Warlock/Hunter can utilize in PvP can boost up even the worst player. A Titan has to rely on his skills as an FPS player first. His map knowledge, his skill with his chosen weapon, his.."trickery". Melee avoidable by other classes by "taking a step back" An oversheild he must use his "must be in sneeze distance" melee to gain a kill to aquire. A special he must run into the fight to use, to which he routinely knows the feeling off eating shells before he lands it. A bubble most enemies see as a "Target to aquire mutikills!". Did I mention the broke jump skill? Cue the "Bu-Bu-But Shoulder Charge is soooo OP Mr. Titan"... Yes, you died to it, maybe twice in a round, so its god like. Did that Titan hit you from the front? Well then you must SUCK..cause us Titans know, 9 out of 10 times SC from the front means a death for us. Yes shoulder charge is OP godmode cause a Titan took the time to get a running start, had a small window of time to land it, and he flanked you hitting you from the side or back...and to that I had to use that new thing all the kids are throwing aroud on these boards lately and say "Shut up Meg, Git Gud" I myself am hardly a "great Titan" but I see those beast out there on the battlefield wrecking fools. My hats off to you. You guys are the true PvP beastmode players of the Crucible/IB

  • Oh come on now. Let's analyze this, shall we? 1) Fist of Havoc. It is literally a "I push button, you die". As a hunter, believe it or not, we have to aim Golden Gun. I understand the hit box is pretty generous, but it takes skill, at least some. We also get no resistance to enemy fire when we activate it, so we have to be just as map aware when we use the super. We can't panic super, unlike the warlock and titan, the titan even more so. 2) Shoulder Charge. I don't care how freaking aware of the map you have to be, you sprint, and its a one shot kill. NO OTHER CLASS HAS THAT. UTILIZE IT. It is not OP, but it is definitely an easy kill now and then. 3) The Bubble. With Helm of Saint-14, you win hands down, every time. I have met lots of titans that are smart enough to exit their bubble when you come anywhere near it with the threat of a super. I enter, they exit. It is a cat and mouse game that you can and most likely will win. Plus, being a GG user, it takes 2 shots to take down the bubble, and then I have one shot to do anything. Yay me. I get one kill at the most. I can't speak for the warlock, seeing as I have no experience with it. 4) Grenades. In all honesty, titans have the second best grenades, behind warlock and in front of the hunter, in my opinion. The lighting grenade is a point clearer like no other, the magnetic grenade is a guaranteed kill if aimed properly. It is highly advantageous to have your grenades, which give the Titan an edge. Titans don't take a huge amount of skill. In my opinion, warlocks take the least skill, hunter and titan being tied. But yes, titans do take SOME skill. But not to the degree you are taking it.
