I'll admit, I'm not the best at crucible. If you take a look at my stats, you'll see I have a 0.78 K/D in PvP. Part of that reason is I can't use golden gun for sh*t. I switched to it since I felt dishonorable using Arc blade to mindlessly sweep up a whole team of guardians, but whenever I activate golden gun I usually only make one or two kills before I die, usually because I unleash it in a stupid place with a bunch of guardians around me. Can I have some advice from my fellow hunters?

Learn to skip this grenade off the ground, ledges and walls. It's great for initiating fights. -Triple Jump- has amazing distance. get good at mastering this jump and you'll outrun any other class or hunter that isn't using it. Example: on Shores of time (pvp venus) you can take the shortcut jump to B without ever touching that little pillar. And many other jumps that others just can't keep up with. -Combustion- on Golden Gun for obvious reasons. shoot into a crowd and more then likely you'll take out multiple people with one shot. - Incendiary Blade- this one is a toss up. Knife juggler is really good if you know that that knife is going to finish them off. Lately tho, I've been using Incendiary and it's amazing. -Gunslinger Trance- Not a big fan of Scavenger and Keyhole is just to situational (Combustion takes care of multiple targets) Besides who doesn't like a little more stability on their gun. -Chain Of Woe- this one is also a toss up, having two throwing knives can be extremely useful. But I'd personally rather reload much faster after precision kills. -Load out- Primary - Either Scout Rifle or Hand cannon (it'll help get that accuracy down, and you'll look more badass doing it)VoC, MIDA/Hawkmoon, Last Word, Timur's lash. Special - Sniper... and nothing else, preferably one with a lot of stability. Praedyth's revenge is amazing. If you're having trouble with head shots, it can get two body shots off really easy. Heavy- Machine Gun, I usually use Corrective measure. but any will do. If you can, get max Discipline and as much strength as possible. i believe its just over 270 to get 100% on a stat. Idk this is my preferred play style, if you got any specific questions i'll try and answer them. Almost forgot, I play on Jumper (i think thats what it's called in this game) basically you jump with LB/L1 Super is on A/X. it's great for maneuvering on hunter with triple jump.

Golden gun u want to do at a range since u can make somewhat distant kill shots. Its pretty forgiving with accuracy to. And u have some time to move around so just dont go chargeing around. Take ur time and make your 3 well placed shots. Get the as helm for 4 shots. Get good at reading the radar to it helpsm it's there use it.

Kill more die less. Hide in corners with fusion rifles. Bladedance and go invis all day.

Well it sounds like you figured the problem out on your own. Don't pop your super in a stupid place.

I usually (but not always) get 3-4 with golden gun. Make sure you have the perk where they explode on. Also in my exp don't get all excited when it's ready and pop it right away. If you play control wait till you see they are capping a flag you can get to before they full cap it. Pop it around the corner and blast.
