(and yes sadly Xur's coming will be the day after Christmas). He should honestly sell all non-exclusives in his shop for 1 strange coin a piece. This way everyone gets that exotic that they have been questing for. As an added bonus, all drops for legendary engrams and exotics could be pushed up for those that do want hawkmoon or Monte Carlo (or just want to earn the exotics the non Xur fashion). This would also give people new to the game a chance to play catch up as well.
