" Birth of History " and its missing texture
I have recently acquired the "Birth of History" from the Iron Banner and have noticed that there is a texture missing on it.
The texture directly between the two large engines of the ship is completely gone. You can notice it when viewing it from your inventory, or in the loading scenes. Since this is a rather rare ship to acquire I thought I should bring this glitch/bug to light. So it may be fixed for those lucky enough to have it.

1 ReplyEven after a few reports Bungie hasn't responded at all. I know this might be a stupid request considering there are more pressing matters (and glitches) to attend, but if I spent so much freaking time raising their Iron Banner numbers and play-time the week it went live just to get that ship, the least they could do is fix it, shouldn't be that hard. Call it a pet peeve, but it's simply annoying.

2 Repliesactually I think it's intentional, if you take the whole shit design an ad and try to analyze it from my perspective anyway. I think they just took a crew compartment and took two huge engines and they mounted it on the back.

Ship.... I have lost all hope. Damn you Iron Banner. I want the ship like you guys, or I demand some magic mote of lite that gets me my time back.

It could be, if the UVs are messed up, but it looks like the mesh isn't manifold or the face normals are inverted. In any case, the issue is that the user is able to see through the backfacing polys, in the core of the ship. It's most glaring when the ship is viewed from behind while jumping between celestial objects, or the intro sequence of the "Exclusion Zone" mission on Mars. However, it is visible in just about all preview/loading screens, as OP stated. I'm playing on Xbox 360.

having the same problem. was happy to finnaly get this ship, just to find out that part was missing. i still use it to show off and firetem members have said that they cant notice anything during travel of when inspecting me. playing on ps4
