PVE events would be nice
I would like to see some unique events for the PVE crowd along the lines of the queens wrath event without the need to play crucible the gain reputation. Just something other than strike playlists to keep the grind fresh and maybe some unique gear to boost to level 30 along with it. I'm not hating on the pvp event, I'm just not really into pvp that much and never have been... I think a lot of people are probably the same way. I do however love to cooperative aspect of the game and I'd like to see some sort of unique event in which we could involve our clan mates

That would be awesome. Maybe a giant world boss on each planet that would require 6 people to take down. Kinda like a raid boss, just no raid and only one boss. Could be pretty interesting.

Yes the would be but I'm pretty sure that Bungie doesn't give 2 shits about the pve community. Based on every decision that have made concerning the game play so far. Their pvp community won't take this gave ten years. At the most 2 and they will be done and that's being generous

Something like having fire teams needed to land on a large moving asteroid to recover a beacon that has some golden age artifacts inside. kill some fallen, vex or hive that are after the artifact too. Maybe a timer counts down before the asteroid will impact something in the reef so it adds a little different game mechanic.

1 ReplyTo go along those lines where is my Dynamic Ever Changing Destiny different things should be happening and changing all the time regardless if we are there or not ... Why must all the enemies be in the same spot doing the same thing all the time can they not patrol different areas or just leave a area and set up shop some-where else.. When I enter into area I should not no exactly how many enemies are going to be there and what they are going to be doing let's mix it up a bit make it more dynamic already keep us on our toes and guessing...

Bungie won't do it because it will cost them to much time and money. They can't reskin anything pve because it will be too repetitive. Pvp is easy for them to reskin.

6 RepliesAnother Queen's Wrath event would be nice. I did 8 of the strike misison/assassinations for the last one. Got 8 chest pieces over two guys, giving me full protection for my two 8-boobed guys. I didn't want anything like a sniper rifle or anything. I don't see why they couldn't tweak some of the regular story missions, change a few things/locations of bad guys. Add in some NPC we have to kill like Xyor the Unwed for Thorn's bounty, and/or an NPC we have to protect while he helps dinklebot open a door, but can take damage and wipes you if he/she dies. Small changes to existing story missions should not be too hard/cost too much to add, and seems like something different without actually being that different.

5 RepliesI don't think there will be anything done for PvE. Neither eventwise nor patchwise. They will feed us with broken raids as long as possible so they can enjoy their own Bungie Ninja crap for a long as possible until the servers are shut down. Sad but true. We PvEer are not wanted here and our requests do not matter at all. Everything that is done is done to improve on the PvP at the costs of PvE being more and more broken. Since the latest Iron Banner my clan and I were no longer able to even finish the Vault of Glass because it is far beyond playable at the moment for us. And I don't talk acceptable here. I'm talking actually playable. We couldn't get past the templar because it simply wouldn't let us. The oracle phase didn't stop as usual. Instead there spawned no more oracles but the rest of the enemies. After fighting hordes and hordes of enemies for over half an hour several times with leaving to orbit, resetting consoles and all we could come up with we decided to leave the game. Maybe forever. Sad but true.

3 RepliesYou want level 30 gear from PVE? Go do the raid... Why do you think you deserve the equivalent of raid gear for doing Queen's guard or similar type missions? That event was implemented into the game to give noobs like you a chance at getting legendary gear lol.

Theyre just gonna post some concept art, call it a fancy name, and essentially just make you do the same crappy strikes repeating like a broken record. When queens wrath came out I thought it was new content. Even most of the rewards are just recolors of the same crap you can buy from any other faction.

I agree. But more substantial than queens wrath, pretending that event had substance was flat out insulting. PVE deserves some love too.
