More like Iron Bummer

Unfortunately it looks like they will need to take this away for sometime again. It's unfortunate it keeps getting released and is just a let down. I don't think that Bungie really even understands their own game. All of the things they promised for this Iron Bummer still are not there. Level differences don't make any difference unless you are level 30. Level 25's can take out a 29 just like standard crucible. . And level 29's do pretty standard damage to anyone under them. But when a 29 goes against a 30 it takes a whole clip to get their armor down? How does that work? I thought that lower level characters with fully upgraded weapons were supposed to be a threat? Apparently lower level only applies to anyone under 30? And it would be nice if they actually made the bounties doable for even above average players. It's pretty tough to get 10 kills without dying in OG crucible let alone in the Iron Banner where instakills happen pretty much every other second. What happened to the ?? on an enemy if they were just flat out too powerful for you? A level 20 was supposed to not have a chance to do any damage to a level 30 according to what was presented. However, they immediately contradict that by stating that anyone with an upgraded weapon has a chance? And then o the final let down...why is it only control on 2 maps only? I have played 20 matches of Iron Banner. Every one of them was control and they were all on Shores of Time and Twilight Gap...I mean I guess we can say at least Bungie is sticking to what they know best. Making us play the exact same thing over and over and over and over again. So here is my plan. I'm just going to put the game down for about a year. Maybe when I come back there will be enough new content to where I wont finish everything in 10 hours and be forced to re-play the game every night.

The maps are random between Blind Watch, Shores, Twilight, and Rusted Lands. That said, the bounties are quite do-able, you're exaggerating the 30 defense by a wide margin, and if that level 24's using anything but a Special weapon the entire game he's going to get rekt.

    • An above average player CAN do the 10 kill bounty - you don't have to be awesome at PVP to get it, you just have to be smart :) Just memorise where the heavy ammo spawns, and when it does, make sure you grab it. The mistake most people make is to then waste it all on their rocket launcher. TIP: You get LOADS more kills if you save heavy ammo for your Machine Gun. I suck at Crucible, my usual K/D is like around 0.60. But by camping heavy ammo and using a good machine gun such as Corrective Measures, it's pretty easy to shred more skilful players.
