Reef Story Mission won't start
I just bought Destiny 2 days ago and have been having a great time but the first story mission on Reef won't load. It gets to about half way through the intro scene then the audio becomes delayed. Then the video finished and the game tried to load for ~3-5 min before I get an error message that says cannot connect to servers. I haven't had this issue with any other mission and my connection is just fine in every other game and every other mission. The same thing happens every single time I've tried it in the last 2 days and I was wondering if anyone else had this problem/knows how to fix it.

1 ReplyWelcome! The last two days have been tumultuous, between new patch issues, and both Xbox live and PSN issues/downtime. So that may have something to do with it. But for now, try fully powering down your system (not just standby. If xbox one, hold the xbox logo light on the front of the system for 5-10 seconds), and waiting 5-10 minutes before powering back up. You can also try deleting destiny from your console (this will NOT affect your characters) and reinstalling, in case the reef cutscene files are corrupted on your system. Can't guarantee either will work, but might be worth a try.
