Patch 1.1 ! December patch notes

PvE Updates: The community moved through our content a lot quicker than we expected. After studying the data and looking at character builds we just felt the classes were all playing too similarly. So we decided to put in a variety of items that allow for Guardians to decide how they will play and uniquely contribute to each fight. This is just a beginning. There is more to come [b]Vault Of Glass[/b]: [u]Enemy damage / health on hard mode has been increased by 10%.[/u] Hard mode gear has been reworked. Hard mode raid gear now looks visually different to normal mode and has the following bonuses: [b]Gauntlets[/b]: Grenades send enemies to the past, immobilizing them for 7 seconds. [b]VOG Hard mode set bonus (3 Items)[/b] : Equipping 3 items gives the following bonuses to each classes super ability. [b]Titan[/b]: Ward of dawn confuses enemies who pass through, making them turn on each other for 7 seconds. [b]Hunter[/b]: Golden gun on hit gives a shield of fire for 20 seconds. Burning and staggering nearby units. [b]Warlock[/b]: Fireborn now also resurrects the nearest fallen Guardian. We feel these changes will allow raid gear to be unique in its utility and allow for very different character builds person to person , class to class. [b]NEW LEGENDARIES[/b]: The following drops are only available from captains / majors / the relevant boss. They are extremely rare. [b]Abominations Bindings[/b]: Gauntlets. Grenade Hits immobilising enemies, binding them with chains to the ground. Note: Enemies can still fire at you while chained. [b]Eye of the Nexus[/b] Helm. Near death, a shield will rise to protect the guardian for 5 seconds. [b]Void of Sepkis[/b] Chest. On Melee hits, release a void pulse that damages all nearby enemies. [b]Priests Shrapnel Launcher[/b]: Primary Shotgun. Solar Damage. Max Reload, incinirates enemies in a large cone. [b]Priests Holy Walkers[/b] On Low health, stomp the ground on melee, pushing all nearby enemies back and slowing them. The following items will only drop in Nightfall Strikes from the relevant bosses: [b]UNIQUE SET - TITAN[/b] [b]Heavy Slug Thrower[/b] Primary Heavy Machine gun. Reduces mobility by 20%. Increases base armour by 20% when paired with... [b]Castle of Ta'urac[/b] Reduces mobility by a further 5%. Titans become a walking steel wall. [b]UNIQUE SET - HUNTER [/b] [b]Cape of the Elder[/b] Increases incoming damage by 10%. Allows hunter the ability to teleport to grenade with... [b]Gloves of the Priest[/b] Allows Hunter to teleport to grenade. Hunter immune to grenade damage on arrival at grenade. [b]UNIQUE SET- WARLOCK[/b] [b]Flayers Minds Eye[/b](helm) Increases all elemental damage taken by 10%. Adds Chosen elemental damage to primary weapon and grenades when paired with [b]Flayers Fleeting Straps[/b] Allows warlock to select an elemental damage type to his primary and super abilities. This will deal a 50% of the current damage as the new elemental damage, as well as the original elemental damage. QUALITY OF LIFE CHANGES All captains, majors and ultras now stand out from the crowd. They will have a glow around their head and can spawn with unique modifiers which will be designated above their head. They can spawn anywhere in the gameworld and have increased loot drop chance. please note, there is no loot table for them, it will be completely random. They do have a chance to drop any of the above items ( a very slim chance, get praying to RnGeesus). All patrols now give 5 planetary materials. Dismantling Uncommon or rare guns gives 1-3 planetary materials (random). Rare chance for a unique Mob captain to spawn in the game world. Mob captains have an army of grunts with them. The captain has unique modifiers. End note: We hope this is enough to keep you satisfied till we iron out any issues with The Dark Below and start dropping more loot in the game.   • Hahaha best patch notes ever... Thanks bungie... Ow wait. Back to waiting for Witcher 3 and bloodborn it is. This game could have been so much more. I'm a patient guy but seriously after reading Deej's patch notes I have lost all faith in the game. They have butchered it too much. All those 'bug' fixes in the patch notes and none of them relate to the most broken thing in the game and that is the VOG!? It is one of the few things most your devoted player base looks forward to playing every week and it is riddled with bugs. The new Iron banner was not going to win the majority of ppl over in my opinion, you really needed to address the pve side first with some pvp elements. Or at least give patch notes on pve changes instead of vague paragraphs of text. There's just no depth in the game and you have covered the game in this endless grind just to long out your content. Bad design. You level up your character and class, then you have to lvl up your sub class by repeating old content for what... 4 new abilities... Then you find armour and your like cool I'm going to equip this. Then to be any stronger you have to lvl that up as well. Then every time I find a weapon I like I have to think do I really want to equip this and then do 20 plus bounties etc to lvl it up. That's just nuts. It would be more bearable if there was more to do end game but there isn't. You know you game has flawed design when ppl are swapping gear last minute in missions just to lvl it up. Then there's the materials you have to farm to max out your legendary gear... Those shards and energy... My god, for armour it's painful but for the weapons it's worse. You need 21+ energy to max lvl a weapon not to mention all the other materials u need but the worst part is there are so many weapons you could level up but due to the high cost and time involved I'm having to think long and hard about chosen a weapon to max out. Cost should be lowered so ppl are willing to spend and max these weapons out, that way we can enjoy maxing more of our weapons. Ow and another thing about your legendaries.... Those perks are just awful. Needs to be much more variety. I have never played a loot game and not cared or got excited about the loot until I played Destiny. I really couldn't careless if I get a legendary unless it turned into an exotic (just cos I like collecting the exotics). I really want this game to succeed but the light is fading.. Into the dark be... Ok I had to stop myself :) P.S I have put a crazy amount of hours in this game and I bought my ps4 only to play this game otherwise I would have waited tell next year to get one. I have tried to champion Destiny but the more I played it the more flaws I saw.
