When I first played the beta and I saw a Dreg, I thought it read Doug. I thought it was a little peculiar, but went with it. All 8 levels and then another 6 on a second character, they were crazy knife wielding pistol toting Dougs roaming the Old Russian landscape. About four hours into the "final release" of the game I was playing with a friend who warned me about a pocket of Dreg up ahead. I replied, "What? You means those Dougs??" This whole time I had thought some dude Doug at Bungie's offices was a real jerk and the programmers/developers had found a way to get back. This way they could safely take all their frustrations out on Doug, by popping Dougs all over Russia. Titan punch, Fist of Havoc, Gunslinger Golden Gun, Bladedancer, Voidwalker Nova Bomb, etc. these Dougs, thereby releasing their stress and pent up aggression. I don't personally know any Dougs, but I move to have Dreg formally or informally known as Dougs. [spoiler]Shanks can also be known as skanks[/spoiler]
