I've recently started working on a titan, he's Lv 10 atm, and I've noticed that (obviously) he doesn't get the same drops as my Lv 27 hunter does. For instance, where my hunter would get green loot and blue engrams, my titan get's white loot and green engrams. Now this is obviously because of his level being so low. However, what I'm really curious about is, which level is it really that decides what colour loot you get? Is it your character level or your cryptarch level? I noticed on my hunter that I didn't drop any legendary engrams, until my first one at about early Lv 27/late 26, which was right around the same time as I got my cryptarch to Lv ~10/11 or so, so it's really kinda hard to tell which was really the defining factor. Anyone got any ideas?
