Community Focus: Game Invites.

Can we all please agree that if you want someone to play with: 1. Send a Party Chat invite instead of a game invite. Sometimes we need a second before coming. We can't come because you are not in orbit. We have other plans. We can clear all these things up easily with chat. 2. Add context to your game invite. "Play Destiny! Hangout?" "Play Destiny! I'm down for anything" "Play Destiny! Raid Hard?" "Play Destiny! PvP" "Play Destiny! Weekly's" "Play Destiny! (Something)" Text is just as good as chat if you can't or don't like to chat. But if you don't say anything, it doesn't help.

  • I say never send invites to people you don't know. Just send a message. I ignore invites from randoms because I don't know what they are doing. If they sent a message I would have read it and told them if I wanted to come or not. Adding a message to the game invite is useless too. It still shows up as an invite so I'll still ignore it.
