Recently the Crucible has held the Combined Arms game type. I personally really enjoy playing it since it offers the larger maps with vehicle gameplay that usually doesn't come up often enough for me when playing either Control or Clash. That being said, I feel like the number of players in combined arms is too small given the sizes of the maps. Increasing the total player count from 12 to 16 or 20 could allow for larger scale battles and potentially faster paced gameplay since you would not be spending time running around the map looking for people. The only other suggestion specifically for Combined Arms, is with the current maps available (there are only 2). I noticed that the upcoming DLC will include 1 vehicle map, but with that being introduced there will only be a total of 3 potential maps for Combined Arms, which could result in only 2 still if players in that 'lobby' do not have the DLC. If possible, could you introduce more vehicle maps to Destiny? Another suggestion I have is in regards to custom matches or private matches. Many players would enjoy getting to choose which map they play or how many players can join so they can play the game types with their friends and practice at the game without having to play against random players.
