I totally think that 90% of thoes should happen. I do also think that one is able to customize their character even after they make them.

farming upgrade materials is a joke already so i dont think that needs any change. other than that tho YES

Mark my vote as a yes. The trading part is a bit tricky but so long as a secure system that is impossible to exploit is implemented I could see this being a viable addition to the game. Granted, drop rates may need tweaking in order to accommodate such a feature.
