A silly question about boarding vehicles:
How will it be possible to board a banshee? I can see how it could happen on a ghost and warthog, but how about the banshee? and what happens if someone boards a ghost you were driving and as soon as he does you press the turbo boost button?

i forget where i read it but im sure it was one of frankie's update... he said that every drivable vehicle will be boardable...

maybe u cant hi jack the Banshee, but in multiplayer if a banshee is tryin to mow u down u can jump and and get in the drivers way. All of a sudden the drivers 3rd person view will go 1st person view and the driver wont be able 2 see anything so he'll like crash into somtin. But it would be suiccidal 2 the person gettin in the drivers way, just another thought, ii got thousands of pointless stuff like this in my head [Edited on 5/29/2004 12:55:42 PM]

i think that would be so cool if you could banshee board, just imagine being in like an earth city skyscaper, and you take out a glass windowed area and a banshee on patrol goes by, and you jump out and land on it, that would be killer in both mp and sp

As for banshee boarding, with destructible vehicles who would be stupid enough to drive their banshee straight at you?! It was stupid to do that in that first Halo and it would probably be even more stupid in Halo 2 cause the person could blow up your banshee with an SMG.

They said you can board a tank. All drivable vehicles are boardable Bungie said. Even the tank. You just have to make sure it is slow enugh for you to hitch a ride.

I think that they should have some way of defending yourself when you are being boarded. Destructible vehicles and boarding almost makes you want to not use a vehicle at all. I think that you should be able to boost in the ghost to sort of shake them off, and just do a fish-tail in the warthog to shake them off. I doubt that I'm going to do much boarding. I'll probably just blow the vehicle up instead.

It would be tough. The Chief would have to jump onto a wing, move the hatch up some, reach in, grab a leg, and jerk it out.....or he could shoot the pilot out with an SRS99C S2 AM sniper rifle, then just hop in and take off. But hte Banshee would have to be slow. And Bungie did say that Banshee boarding might be possible. If I am correct it was in the newest Halo 2 Exclusive of OXM.
