Does the game not live up to the hype that was generated about it? Not entirely, no. Is it still an incredibly fun game? Yes. Did I expect a more in depth story line than what I got? Yes. Was I disappointed? Yes. But you know what, even with these and all the other flaws, it's still a very fun game.
To all the people who complain about not being to access vendors and bounties from each map or your ship: think about. The storyline, as it stands is all about pushing back the darkness and reclaiming territory. Of course there aren't going to be outposts or settlements. As for the ship thing, idk, idc. I like it this way, but that doesn't mean my way is the right way.
To the people who complain about the RNG: I feel your pain. That is all.
To everyone who posts about the game sucking, or that they already sold it: stop posting on the forums if you can't do anything but complain, man. I'm sorry that you feel like you wasted your money, but stop making it that much worse for the rest of us. I get on the forums, and all I see is bitching.
In closing, no, Destiny does not have a perfect multiplayer system, and is not on par with Skyrim, Fallout, or Mass Effect in terms of story. But it's still a darn good game.
That's my two cents.

I do not hate this game. I will say if it wasn't for my friends I would no longer be playing it though.
