Just an idea.
I'm going to try and keep things short. Earlier today I thought to myself, "Wouldn't it be cool if there was a type of gauntlet, or boss run." One in which you (and your fireteam) are let down in a large arena in which you have to fight each of the strike bosses individually in a row. Now if you beat a boss, you will have the choice of either leaving the arena or staying and moving on to the next boss. The more bosses you beat consecutively, the higher the quality the loot will be. But if you and your team all die, you are returned to orbit with nothing. There could also be some type of leaderboard in which it records players' completion time, if a player completes the gauntlet.
This is just off the top of my head. I didn't put too much thought into it. Let me know what you think.

3 RepliesAka boss horde mode. Could be fun! However, there's absolutely no point in kicking people to orbit. That's my biggest issue with the Nightfall, rather than kick them to orbit how about you just start them over? KTO is lame and a big waste of time, especially when it's entirely possible that you could get error codes multiple times before you're able to actually start it back up.

1 ReplyI would love to see something like a massive ground assault with a full fireteam of six, involving either large numbers of guardian bots, other fireteams, or both. Imagine a horde of guardians streaming across a battlefield, all attacking the same target/boss/installation or whatever. I have this image in my head of the regular space-based loading screen, where you first see your ship traveling and then joined by your fireteam of three or six, but in this assault being joined instead by dozens of ships. I bet it'd be fun...

Another idea: Have a daily challenge for the gauntlet, such as beat "Insert name here" in "Insert amount of time" or without dying. If you complete the challenge, then you get something like upgrade materials. And there could be a weekly challenge that is difficult to complete, but the reward is well worth the challenge.

I would like something like this, and also, you cant use any ammo synthesis in the arena, you can only get ammo from drops
