How Destiny 2 will work with your Character
Go read this article from back in July where they specifically talk about your guardian going with you regardless of whether it's Destiny 1-4. They've stated many times Destiny will be a persistent world game. You won't lose your character.

To be fair, given what was said about Destiny before it was released - I think it's best not to speculate about what may or may not be in any future related titles... Wait until it's released and check reviews for the facts of what's actually included - less chance for disappointment

2 RepliesIf it wasn't cut along with everything else. MASS EFFECT promised the same thing and by MASS EFFECT 2 the engine had changed so drastically you practically had to start your leveling all over. So people who got to level 60 in ME1 were kicked in the crotch. I don't believe anything these people promise anymore until it's physically on my screen in-game.

1 ReplyEdited by Chapstick: 11/6/2014 1:46:46 AMwhat I took away from this is "no matter how long you've been playing we'd like everybody to be the same level, with the same gear, and the same rewards, that way all the terrible casuals will have a chance to be at the top of the score board and feel like they've put the same amount of work in as the try hards" they're making its so every low level skyrockets to level 27/28 then they just plateau there for months or quit the game until the dlc comes out. so bungie, why taper everything to the lower levels just to prevent them from quitting? are you really just out for our money to the point that you cant make a rewarding game for people that put the time in? and im not even going to get into how they brainwash their players through conditioned response.
