Organizing Feedback by Category: PATROL

Quick preface: This forum sees a whole lot of movement, and an awful lot of good ideas get bumped down without even being seen. I think we can make a collective effort to gather ideas and organize the best of them. I'd like to start with the Patrol modes because let's face it, after a certain point, when you're done with the weeklies there's not all that much to do and there's nothing in a short or even medium term that Bungie can do to entirely fix this. What can be done, in my eyes, is make improvements on the Patrol mode, which is, how can I put it, the more maleable aspect of the game as of right now in terms of community integration ( I am not including Crucible in this analysis because where I come from, murder is not an acceptable form of social interaction ). SO, general rules: Post here, comment on and like the ideas that you appreciate, I'll do my best to keep track and update this OP with those considered interesting. 1) Fallen Escort Convoys, by SplinterCellz88 ( OP : http://www.bungie.net/pt-br/Forum/Post/76778907/0/0 ) "These Fallen Escort Convoys is a small band of Fallen Pikes consisting of six Fallen Kell Guards, and one Fallen Boss with Boss health. Killing the Fallen Boss will drop 1 - 2 ascendant material and very rarely one legendary engram. These escort parties will occasionally come by on Earth, Moon, or Venus in similar fashion to the Fallen Pike squads. They are not "Events" per se, they occur much like the pike squads that show up on the Forgotten Shore, with no warning other than the small white text on the left side" * Please SC88, feel free to either post here or message me further detailing your concept if you wish for a larger description * 2) Large-Scale Event, by Zetthy "Larger, harder events that trigger warnings on player's screens, a call from the Speaker or perhaps one of the Vanguards. Whatever you're doing, you are needed elsewhere. Upon joining the Patrol mode of the appropriate planet, you will be guided to a sector where something bad or interesting is happening. Now, saying "a big-ass spiderbot is wrecking stuff" is a little cliche, so I'd like some help getting creative. I'm thinking more like there's a battle going on between two factions, say Vex Vs Fallen, and there are several Majors and a couple Ultras going around each side, moving in clusters with minions. This may be a perfect opportunity to snipe off a select group of enemy commanders, and doing so will significantly turn the tide of the battle. (requesting consequence ideas here ). If you have some massive Traveler-size balls you can join the thick of battle but that's probably not good because both sides will then converge on you, and suddenly we have a 4-9 players co-op BLOODBATH that's in some way resemblant of the 3-player Mars trailer clip ( which reminds me, that actually huge Colossus would make a sweet Ultra ). It's not only a great way to introduce some new bounties ( FOR THE LOVE OF GOD ), but also a great way to give us the 6-9 player events that we saw on the E3. I think the Forgotten Shore is a great place for this, as well as the initial LZ on Mars, the Hellmouth open area and perhaps a two-pronged attack on the Vault of Glass by enemies ( you didn't think only the Guardians were interested, did you? ) COME ON, GUARDIANS!

Imo they should be a unique type of enemy.. Not just a super sized knight or ogre. Also the spawn times should be once every 3 hours and require about 10 people to kill effectively (if these people all have exotics and stuff) Level30 enemy X% blue drop Y%material drop in stack of 10 Z% purple drop K% exotic drop Lotta glimmer 30% coin drop 30% more drop 75% ammo synth drop 2% epic shader drop 90% gun skin consumable drop You get only 5 of the above.(can get duplicate)" * I took the liberty of turning the engram percentages into variables, I believe it should be more about having interesting things to do than having new ways of dropping engrams *
